The Opportunity:
Cyber Innovation Team (CIT) is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill a Senior Software Developer role in Fairfax, VA, to support the re-architecture of a large mission critical access control system. The successful candidate will work with a team of developers supporting custom ETL parsers with Java and Oracle. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of object oriented principles and the ability to work with big data and various data formats to make data meaningful to the end user.

Responsibilities:
In addition to the above, this role will involve regular software deliveries to meet agreed-to agile schedules and mission priorities.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • 8+ years of related experience with a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, (10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 14+ years in lieu of college degree)
  • Demonstrated experience debugging existing code is a must.
  • Experience in software engineering using the SDLC and other software development, deployment and management methodologies (e.g. Agile, JIRA).
  • Demonstrated knowledge with Java, XML, JSON, and associations Java libraries.
  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle, PL/SQL.
  • Experience with Unit testing.
  • Proven ability to understand and debug existing code.
  • Experience working with large data volumes requiring highly performant code.
  • Experience with DevOps related tools such as Splunk, Jenkins, Nexus, Gitlab, Maven, Git.


Desired:
  • AWS, DBMS, or programming certifications (Certified AWS Cloud Solutions Architect Professional)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$94,400 - $198,300
