Program Manager V
This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.
As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.
Leads major IT projects, applying expertise across key tasks and high-impact assignments. Evaluates performance, recommends changes, and ensures project success. Acts as a liaison between business and technical teams, planning stages, assessing impacts, and monitoring progress to meet deadlines, standards, and costs. Level V handles complex tasks independently and may supervise others.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Manager V:
- Pay commensurate with experience.
- Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.

Program Manager V Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, manage, and execute major IT assignments and projects.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.
- Analyze project outcomes and recommend changes for improved success.
- Provide strategic guidance across multiple project assignments.
- Bridge communication between business and technical teams to align project goals.
- Define project stages, assess business implications, and develop implementation strategies.
- Track deadlines, quality standards, and cost targets to ensure project success.
- Address challenging issues requiring independent thinking and decision-making.
- Supervise team members as needed for project execution.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project integrity.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Program Manager V Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency.
- Ten (10) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
- Commercial (Baseline) Certificates: PMI, PMP or equivalent as approved by the COR, ITIL 4 Foundation, Windows Server, CISSP.
- Proficient in using hands/fingers for handling, typing, and operating equipment.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally walk or stand.
- Strong ability to see up close, at a distance, and along the periphery with depth perception and focus adjustment.
- Capable of hearing and responding to spoken communication.
- Ability to effectively talk and interact with others in various settings.
- Comfortable working in a diverse office environment with varying personalities and functional roles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced office setting.
- Capable of working with a wide variety of people with different expertise and abilities.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
