CACI is looking for an IT Manager to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior IT Manager that specializes in Configuration Management. They will help to organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks. Manages teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations. Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization. Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs. In conjunction with the program manager establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organizes and delegates responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all tasks assigned to the SCITES team. Ensures customer resources are effectively and efficiently managed. Serves as the overall responsible party for alignment, resourcing and material solution tracking for all USSOUTHCOM SCITES related applications, firmware, software and material tracking from solution definition through the entire solution life cycle.

Responsibilities:
The candidate will act as the IT Manager and will be responsible for the following:
- • Manages day to day business of the USSOUTHCOM SCITES mission configurations and operations requirements of a 4-Star Geographic Combatant Command HQ while balancing the responsibilities of various mission systems and supporting operations analysis and risk management.
- • Establishes strategic plans for improvements to the GCC configuration management processes and tracks command resources. Responsible to ensure accuracy of commands configuration management data base.
- • Collaborates with other back-office team members to ensure seamless business execution of a $950m program.
- • Serves as a key influence to Executive (GO/FO) leadership for planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes.
- • Directly collaborates with USSOUTHCOM SCITES executive (GO/FO) leadership on the planning for special projects covering USSOUTHCOM technical programs, exercises, and contingency support operations across 31 Countries and U.S. Territories within the SOUTHCOM AOR.
- • Interfaces daily with GO/FO, GS-15 and Senior Foreign Partner Leaders to Identify trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution across multiple enclaves and security classification networks supporting the full range of C5I operations.
- • Completes reasonability testing and information validation prior to circulating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- • Collaborates with transitions and onboarding team as needed.
- • Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
- • Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
- • Supervise others.
Required Skills:
- Master of Science Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or other relevant subject with 7 Years previous experience. Bachelor's degree will substitute with 9 years' experience.
- TS/SCI Clearance
- Experience leading teams
- Demonstrated experience leading configuration management for large scale > 1000 users, enterprise architectures.
- Experience supporting physical and virtual environments
- Experience navigating large projects, working with various work centers, maintain technical documentation in a geographically dispersed organization.
Desired Skills:
- Familiar with Configuration Management standards including DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), MIL-HDBK-61 and ISO10007.
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and NIST SP 800-53.
- A thorough knowledge of software and hardware configuration management principles and procedures is essential, as is an understanding of the systems development life cycle.
- Ability to read technical documentation and identify alignment and/or conflict with process requirements and policies. Be able to translate these findings into customer communications.
- Demonstrated understanding of Configuration Management (CM) processes and knowledge in cloud and software defined networking principles and technologies is preferred.
- Experience with DoD Defense Planning Guidance (DPG) Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process."
