Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with fourteen (14) years' experience; Master of Science and twelve (12) years' experience; Additional six (6) years' of related work experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Experience as SW architect or lead with focus on SW development and integration into complex systems.
- Strong knowledge of SW architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with SW modernization efforts.
- Proficient in C++ or Python.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think both strategically and critically.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex subjects in a simple manner.
- Agile SW development.
- Experience with distributed, embedded, systems including RTOS.
- Software Safety in a MIL-STD-882E context.
- Ability to mentor software engineers on correct architecture, design, and implementation processes.
- Experience in architecture paradigms, modeling languages and tools.
