Data Scientist - Lackland, AFB; Must have an active TS/SCI Clear

Synertex LLC is seeking an experienced EMS Data Scientist to support the integration, refinement, and management of Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) data at the Joint Electromagnetic Warfare Center (JEWC) on Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) - Lackland.

This role will ensure that all EMS data is accurately organized, maintained, and exported in machine-readable formats, as well as ensuring that dynamic software models are developed to reflect all relevant attributes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advise and assist in the ongoing assessment and refinement of data housed within the EMS repository.
• Identify and address informational gaps in the EMS data, ensuring that necessary corrections, collections, and organization efforts are made to rectify errors.
• Ensure that EMS data is structured in a hierarchical format, starting from the unit garrison/steady state location through to the associated platform and equipment parametric values.
• Provide documentation outlining the data sources and identifying the gaps or errors being addressed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with software development lifecycle and methodologies.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and cleaning techniques.
