The National Systems Group serves as the technical advisor to the Intelligence Community and its mission partners involved in the collection and distribution of national and tactical intelligence, including electronics programs, advanced technologies, ground and communications, imagery programs, and systems engineering and launch.

The Advanced Mission Integration Division is adding a Multi-INT Systems Integration Engineer (Senior Project Engineer - Multi-Disciplinary Engineering) to evaluate and advise on the requirements, testing and employment of a Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) simulation and tool. An additional role is to assist the government customer to engage with DoD, IC and commercial data providers to enable multi-int sensor data sharing.

Work Model

This is a full-time position based in Chantilly, VA, which requires 100% onsite work.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on agile software development and acquisition processes for a JLVC tool used in Service and Combatant Commander exercises.
  • Apply knowledge of space and ground enterprise to facilitate technical exchanges with Services on standards development and implementation to optimize sensor usage for cooperative operations.
  • Lead engineering assessments with company subject matter experts in modeling and simulation, information systems, and mission payload data.
  • Work in a government program office and contribute to group efforts.


What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements Senior Project Engineer - Multi-Disciplinary Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or an appropriate technical discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively more responsible experience
  • Experience working with the DoD and/or IC to develop, design, and or test air, ground or space systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of agile software development and verification & validation processes.
  • Experience in government program management environments, including the ability to work all phases of design and system acquisition.
  • Working knowledge of DoD and IC national and tactical sensors.
  • Willing to travel d omestically approx. up to 10% of the time for CONUS exercises.
  • This position requires a current and active TS/SBI/SCI security clearance and polygraph, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
  • Expertise in the Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination process as an intelligence analyst (strike warfare, operational, geospatial, or all-source).
  • Knowledge of Joint Interface Control Documents to enable sensors to tie unto a sensing grid.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of space, ground architecture; and the following warfighter integration tools: THRESHER and FADE.
