Analog and Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Key Role:

Support critical government research and development programs related to microelectronics design and verification. Work with industry-leading engineers in world-class research facilities to impact national security investment through the new development of military applications for cutting-edge technologies. Maintain and leverage technical expertise and build lasting relationships in serving clients. Work with a team of engineers, scientists, and researchers to develop the next generation of microelectronic designs critical to our national interests. Assist your colleagues and clients in developing novel analog, mixed-signal, RF, and T rus ted designs leveraging commer cia l best practices and state of the art tools and techniques. Research and implement new and novel approaches for design and verification in the unique DoD design environment. Provide technical management support and strategic assessments of new technologies to support senior DoD decision-makers, including c ond ucting background research in evaluating the feasibility of and potential applications for new technological concepts. Produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients, assist with technical program management and program development, and brief materials out for government research and development efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a microelectronics design or verification role
• Experience with analog, mixed-signal, or RF design technologies and applications
• Experience with modern EDA tool chains for design, including Cadence, Siemens, or Synopsys
• Experience performing technical research, documenting results, and presenting findings to customers and stakeholders
• Experience using Micro sof t Office programs, including PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to be self-motivated and entrepreneurial with a client-service mindset, seek out solutions, and deliver value within uncertain and evolving project environments
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience leading independent or small technical groups in planning, executing, and delivering complete projects
• Experience with MATLAB, SPICE, SPICE, SpectreRF / Maestro, Voltus, ICgraph, Spectre, or similar design, layout, or simulation tools
• Experience with other aspects of the ASIC design flow such as architecture and synthesis, prototyping, power analysis, or security verification
• Knowledge of problems and solutions asso cia ted with designing for hardware security and t rus t
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documentation skills
• Possession of excellent research skills
• Secret clearance
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred ; Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
