Defense Capture Manager
Key Role:
Identify and win executable business for defense industry clients through applying expertise in the business development life cycle from opportunity identification through shaping, capture and proposal, and contract startup and execution. Leverage senior-level leadership and extensive community relationships within the defense industry and government clients. Use experience with capture and business development while leveraging functional expertise to build addressable market and increased technical solutions development work. Lead negotiations with industry partners to build teams supporting large complex procurements. Lead captures for complex and technical bids, including identifying and assessing clients' requirements and buying patterns, developing complex technical solution options, and building a cost-competitive industry team that can deliver client impact through a winning bid. Drive market-based competitive intelligence, market assessments, client assessments, and strategic planning efforts to support expanding specific client-based opportunity portfolios and pipelines. Manage key stakeholder relationships and keep the business leadership team informed and e nga ged in advancing strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience leading large captures and developing complex technical solutions supporting bids for DoD and civilian clients up to $250M
- 2+ years of experience with the direct management of complex solutions and development capture efforts for the defense community and government clients
- Experience with the successful execution of all phases of a large and multi-year capture effort, including strategic planning, teaming, proposals, market, or competitive and price-to-win analyses
- Experience briefing senior executives and government clients, and developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners
- Experience with the business development life cycle and solution selling methodologies
- Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts
- Ability to lead teams and stakeholders throughout the capture process
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
