About the Position:
As an Account and Physical Security Specialist, you will be responsible for approving/creating user accounts, creating/maintaining passwords, and controlling physical access of classified network devices and communication systems for RCC-C and DoD customers. As part of the Access Management Team, this position will provide telephone, online, and in-person customer support to resolve service requests and issues related to physical security and account management in a DoD environment. A professional attitude and strong work ethic are a must; along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment both independently or as part of a team effort.

About the Position:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The ideal candidate will possess experience with/in:
- Fill the role of the Security Coordinator, as directed by NETCOM
- Support the Personnel Security, Industrial Security, Information Security, Operations Security and/or Physical Security aspects of the RCC-C
- Support initiatives in regard to the Operational Security (OPSEC) program to support annual reviews, address deficiencies, and support future initiatives
- Work with JPAS and/or DISS to address incoming personnel clearance status, visit access requests (VAR), and verify visiting personnel clearance status
- Knowledge of the DoD 8570.01 requirements for certification
- Update and maintain the safe combos, door ciphers, X09/X10 PIN, and ICID/PIC codes
- Understand and maintain the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) model for the RCC-C, to include all Civilian, Military, and Contract personnel
- Take appropriate action as necessary to ensure proper handling of classified material in order to mitigate any possibility of breaches in security, policy, or procedures
- Support Incident Reporting procedures in regard to security breaches, specific to the RCC-C staff
- Effectively manage time and effort to ensure on-time completion of all assigned tasks. Support special projects as needed to achieve organizational goals and/or mission objectives.
- Coordinate with external organizations such as 7th Signal Command (Theater), Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), U.S. Army Cyber Command (USARCYBER) and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) as needed to support customer request.
- Assist in the creation, maintenance and/or review of written documentation and procedures for the RCC-C and Access Management Team.
- Responsible for completing other duties/responsibilities as assigned
- May be assigned other duties or tasks as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- HS +4 years customer service experience
- IAT II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, SSCP) required
- Physical Security (PSY) certification required within 180 days
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim
- Scheduling flexibility able to accommodate afterhours, weekends and holidays
- Occasional travel may be required for work or training purposes.
