Position Description:
The Field Service Engineer will perform: System of System based technical analysis, integration and support; serve as the company's customer-facing representative, provides technical, operational, and strategic guidance. Supports Program Managers by understanding changes in technology, either government developed or commercial off the shelf, and articulates the benefits to a tactical communications system of systems architecture. Collects, tracks, and resolves end user issues for archival knowledge management database. Will work closely with software developers, cloud engineers, and project management teams to provide feedback and recommendations for current baseline configurations, integration efforts, and future initiative requirements. Coordinates third party integration/implementation efforts between vendors, engineers, program managers, and customers.

- Establish business relationships with internal team members and external customers
- Conduct material and services purchases in support of prime, subcontract, and corporate requirements.
- Assist with shipping and receiving of material purchases, maintaining 100% accountability of all transactions from start of transaction through final disposition
- Contribute to vendor selection, price negotiation, order placement, vendor interface and support, and overall vendor quality control
- Be overall responsible for the management of the fixed asset report in conjunction with the Information Technology and Finance Team
- Perform various technical requirements to assist in market research, installation, and operation of a buyer acquisition process
- Support the corporate contract and procurement manager

Required Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of this work the candidate must have, or have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- High School diploma and 12 years relevant experience, or Associates in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience. (Military experience preferred but not required)
- Possess the ability to assess, interpret, and render judgements under limited direct supervision.
- Minimum 3 years experience using Nett Warrior or similar Situational Awareness, Command and Control System.
- Expert level understanding in military communications; voice and data.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a small team and disseminate technical reports or information.
- Strong understanding in IP Architecture and networking devices.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical information at all levels.
- Experience with Tactical networks and mission command systems.
- Experience with handheld mobile computing devices.
- Exposure to Software engineering processes/tools/methods, Software design, test, development, and/or support, Operating systems, system administration & network protocols.
- Demonstrated knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Teams) Advanced Excel proficiency expected
- Proven analytic, organization and problem-solving skills to support sound decision making.
- Proven ability working independently or as part of a team with tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
- Minimum 5 years employing Nett Warrior or similar Situational Awareness, Command and Control Systems.
- Experience developing automation scripting in Windows Powershell.
- Experience building Virtual Machines in Hyper-V or similar.
- Experience in building and deploying TAK servers.
- Experience using tactical radios with a strong understanding in communication planning, networking waveforms (MANET), and Common Operating Picture (COP) data flow.
- Experience using the TAK applications (WINTAK/ATAK/LTAK)
