Strategic Communications Specialist - SECRET

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialist to join a DoD contract based in Honolulu, HI. This position requires an active Secret Clearance and will require onsite attendance.

Responsibilities of the Strategic Communications Specialist:

• Maintain robust Strategic Communications for leadership in various forums.
• Provide detailed updates and meeting materials to leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop scripts, speeches, articles, and digital correspondence for strategic messaging.
• Design and produce professional virtual engagements and events.
• Plan and execute strategic events/engagements with leadership.
• Create deliverables to support strategic events/engagements.
• Coordinate and maintain strategic documents for events.
• Collaborate with agency experts, senior leadership, and stakeholders.

Qualifications of the Strategic Communications Specialist:

• 8+ years of experience in communications.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time for events.
• Experience in social media, video production, and/or content writing.
• Must be able to be onsite at JBPHH 1-3 days per week.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Compensation for the Strategic Communications Specialist:

• Salary: $100,000-135,000/year (flexible based on experience).
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Paid Holidays, sick leave if required by law.
