ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Navy New Construction Systems Engineer to join our team in the Washington, D.C. Navy Yard.
This position is in support of NAVSEA PEO Integrated Warfare Systems New Construction. The employee in this position will provide support for new construction program reviews at the system and ship level.

This position is in support of NAVSEA PEO Integrated Warfare Systems New Construction. The employee in this position will provide support for new construction program reviews at the system and ship level.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develops briefing materials, meeting agendas, minutes, and tracks resolution of action items
- Provides technical and programmatic support on a wide range of activities and missions supporting Naval ship combat systems
- Collects and analyzes data to monitor and track system metrics
- Identifies, reports, and assists with the resolution of program issues
- Domestic travel up to 10%
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience completing Systems Engineering or analysis related tasking
- Must have the ability to read, interpret, and comment on ship, system, equipment drawings, and diagrams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university
- Experience with Navy Surface Ship Aegis Combat Systems
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve
delivering presentations - Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
