Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description

• Support the full range of congressional activities functions to assist OUSD(I&S) CA.
• Conduct interaction with Congress to promote Congressional understanding and generate Congressional support for Defense Intelligence resources and legislative priorities, consistent with the Department's legislative priorities.
• Assist in developing and implementing standardized processes with regard to the Defense Intelligence community and congressional interaction.
• Responsible for coordinating the Defense intelligence legislative message to promote the articulation of a consistent message to Congress on Defense Intelligence priorities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience performing legislative analysis.
• Experience preparing clear and concise written summaries of lengthy documents under tight time constraints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with tracking and managing task coordination in a large, bureaucratic organization.

Required Education and Certification:

Degree: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

Preferred Skills and Relevant Experience:

• Degree: Master's degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of 10 years' combined experience in the following areas.
• Experience on a congressional committee, preferably one of DoD's oversight committees.
• Identify detailed knowledge of the Defense Intelligence Enterprise and apply it extracting salient information relevant to the Department of Defense Intelligence Enterprise and its components from congressional bills and reports.
• Experience in an office or component of the Department of Defense or the Intelligence Community
