Job Description:
The Air Battle Integration Engineer Lead will support the development and delivery of critical technical products. This role will involve working with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of product releases for a dynamic and growing customer base, particularly within a military or aerospace environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in overseeing the development, delivery, and support of technical products, utilizing software-focused, matrixed, multi-disciplinary frameworks for exiting Prime Mission Equipment (PME)
• Collaborate with program managers to define development strategies and address operational challenges.
• Monitor, document, and report product implementation, timelines, budgets, issues, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to best practices in the execution of projects.
• Leverage subject matter expertise in C4ISR software technologies, including command and control, communications, and intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.
• Conduct C4ISR modernization studies, system performance assessments, and capability gap analyses to inform product roadmaps and provide refresh recommendations.
• Work with multiple engineering disciplines to evaluate technical information, resolve issues, and support design, production, and product sustainment activities.
• Utilize knowledge of military tactical data links (LINK-16, TADIL-J, TADIL-A) VOIP, PBX, and network systems (IP addresses, DNS, routers, switches).
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline).
• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a System/Electrical Engineer or similar technical role.
• Experience in a military environment, preferably in air operations or air traffic control.
• Experience in the Middle East is a plus.
• Prior program management training or experience is highly desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of military tactical data links (Link-16, TADIL-J, TADIL-A, VOIP, and PBX systems.
• Proficient in computer programming, operating systems (Windows and Linux), software installation, and system hardware components (including networks, LANS, and RAID).
• Experience with software design, sustainment, and software testing, verification and validation.
• Strong networking skills, including experience with network design, IP addresses, DNS, and routers/switches.
• Strong analytical skills, able to collect, organize, and synthesize data to draw conclusions and provide recommendations.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a strong team player.
• Able to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management and clients.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, customers and technology partners.
