We are looking for experienced Mobile Device Systems Engineer to support an Azure Infrastructure performing a variety of engineering analyses, software, hardware, development, integration, testing and maintenance tasks. Troubleshooting, problem resolution, supporting existing infrastructure services, and integrating new capabilities are some of the responsibilities of this role. If you enjoy small teams and can work independently, this may be the job for you.

You will:
Create and maintain a comprehensive BYOD policy that outlines which devices are authorized, security requirements, data access controls, and user responsibilities.
Use Microsoft Intune as our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution to onboard personal devices to the company network, configure security settings, and manage application installations.
Evaluate the security posture of personal devices, identify vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate security measures like encryption, anti-malware software (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint), and strong authentication methods.
Familiarity with integrating Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions, such as Microsoft Authenticator, including a strong understanding of its functionality and practical applications.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations by managing data access controls and implementing appropriate data encryption mechanisms for personal devices.
Provide training to employees on proper BYOD usage, security protocols, and best practices to protect sensitive company data.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, mobile operating systems (iOS, Android), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Intune.
Deep understanding of security concepts like encryption, authentication, firewalls, and data protection practices.
Implement and manage advanced security technologies, including Mobile Passkey Authentication (FIDO2), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access Policy Engines, and Azure Active Directory Application Proxies, to ensure secure and seamless access to enterprise systems.
Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to personal devices accessing company systems.
Clearly communicate technical information to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
Provide and implement comprehensive documentation, guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes, ensure consistency, and support end-user needs.
You Have:
U. S. Citizenship
A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance
5+ years of experience working in a federal government environment
Bachelor's degree
Experience with mobile device and operating system security, functional testing, device management, and enterprise mobile management infrastructure
A strong background in networking and expertise in configuring and managing conditional access policies to ensure secure and efficient access to company resources.
Experience with Windows and Linux server infrastructure
Strong background using conditional access policies
Experience with PKI concept and applications, including certificate management
Ability to harden mobile devices against DoD guidance including DoD STIGs
Ability to develop diagrams accurately using Microsoft Visio or Microsoft PowerPoint
Ability to use standard Microsoft Office tools
Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Intune and Azure Administrator Associate are a plus
DoD 8570 IAT II or higher certification
