Job Title: Reliability Engineer
Job Location: Grand Prairie, TX 75051
Onsite Requirements:
* FMECA experience
* Reliability predictions of electronic components.
* Experience with Failure reporting, trend analysis and corrective action
Job Description:
* Seeking a Reliability Engineer for a full-time position in Grand Prairie, TX.
* Individuals will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting technical reliability analyses, studies, and evaluations of development and production hardware to meet design requirements.
* Candidate will work directly with the MFC Integrated Product Team (IPT) to access product design and production hardware suppliers to address proposed hardware changes and resolve production failures.
* This position requires the successful candidate to be present at the MFC office for IPT interaction and to support regularly scheduled meetings with Suppliers.
* Supplier meetings will be both virtual and in person with periodic travel to the Suppliers.
Experience Requirements:
* Must have at least 5 years of previous experience with Reliability predictions of electronic components.
* Must have at least 5 years of previous experience with Failure reporting, trend analysis, and corrective action.
* Must have at least 5 years of previous experience with the FMECA process and analyses.
* Familiar with Reliability development/growth testing.
* Must have at least 5 years of previous experience with professional experience working with military products.
* Willing to travel and work overtime as needed.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.
* Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations.
* Familiarity with SAP software and Visual Basic Macros.
* Safety engineering knowledge.
* Human Factors Engineering knowledge.
* Quality Engineering knowledge.
* Familiar with engineering drawings/schematics, both mechanical and electronic.
* Experience with Weibull, Reliability growth, and statistical analysis.
* Experience with Reliability role in Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and Failure Review Boards (FRB).
* Ability to compile/analyze performance reports and production/process control statistics.
* Familiar with reliability testing (HALT, ESS, RDGT).
