Fort Meade, MD (On-Site/Office)
Assured Information Security (AIS) has openings for a Level 1 and Level 2 Systems Engineer. This is an onsite position located in Ft. Meade, MD and requires a TS/SCI w/FS Poly.
We are looking for someone with strong telecommunications and signals analysis background. In this role you will be involved in all aspects of system support, including requirements management, data management and analysis, system testing, and support to users.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years Systems Engineer experience (Level 1); Minimum of 14 years Systems Engineering experience (Level 2)
• Hands-on System Engineering/Signals Analysis position supporting a mission critical system
• Experience with modern communications networks and/or telephony engineering
• Basic Linux skills
Preferred:
• Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyzer.
• Knowledge of and experience with scripting languages to automate installations, analysis, testing and or system monitoring efforts.
• Experience installing, monitoring, and optimizing Kubernetes clusters.

US Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
