The Machinist will assist our engineering and technical by developing, modifying, or engineering technical solutions to complete their mission. We are looking for a self-starting individual that can work with a diverse technical group to support their operational needs, meet Government and Contractual requirements, and protect the integrity of the firm.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• TS/SCI
• Must have significant experience in operating production machines
• Diagnoses or troubleshoots machines or equipment to determine malfunction and the need for adjustment or repair
• Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment
• Lubricates and cleans parts, installs, moves, sets-up and operates all types of equipment and machine tools

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Safety orientated
• 6+ years direct machinist experience
• Full understanding of manual lathes, surface grinders, and related shop equipment
• Possess a team orientated attitude
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers and indicators
• A good mechanical aptitude and background is a must
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Good mathematical skills
