In this position, you will lead the Cost Estimating and Pricing process and mentor department personnel. You will operate as a Subject Matter Expert in most aspects of the Estimating of the Estimating System Description (ESD), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Truthful Cost and Pricing Data/TINA.
The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.
What You'll Do:
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $99410 - $168997
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

In this position, you will lead the Cost Estimating and Pricing process and mentor department personnel. What You'll Do:
- Perform Cost Estimating and Pricing functions during the proposal lifecycle, which includes new business proposals, ROMs and program change proposals as needed. New business opportunities will involve various contract types ranging from Cost Plus, Fixed Price and Time and Materials.
- Lead proposal pricing strategy and analysis.
- Implement required Estimating and Pricing tools and processes. Provide feedback on these tools and processes to support improvement where necessary and support groups involved with cost estimating & pricing and business management initiatives to improve processes and tools, as requested.
- Assist in identification, development and implementation of new pricing policies and processes.
- Mentor and train less experienced professionals.
- Perform Request for Proposal (RFP) and Statement of Work (SOW) analysis and compliance related to cost, schedule and proposal submittal. Apply and follow policies and procedures related to external RFP requirements.
- Work with Program Managers to develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Create and review Basis of Estimates (BOEs). Analyze and apply historical data in order to support sound BOE development.
- Perform direct and indirect rate application and Cost Estimating Relationship (CER) analysis checks for accuracy and consistency.
- Perform and interpret risk, Monte Carlo, cashflow and business case analysis
- Prepare and present cost review presentations to leadership.
- Ensure cost volumes are compliant with regulatory requirements and prepared in accordance with company practices.
- Provide fact finding and negotiations support to proposal team and contract manager
- Support internal and external (DCAA/DCMA) audit support as warranted.
- Apply lessons learned documentation, assessment and implementation of corrective action/improvements to process.
- Ensure that all business is conducted using the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations as well as company policies and directives.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- BS/BA in a related field plus 6 or more years of related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

- Proficient in the use of MS office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Proposal leadership experience, government contracting experience, and experience working with data.
