Data Architect

The Opportunity:

NTS is seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team and play a vital role in shaping the future of data management. This position offers the chance to work closely with program specialists to develop a standardized business vocabulary and align data strategies with the organization's goals. The Data Architect will be responsible for influencing enterprise-wide projects and designing the data systems and interfaces that will support the company's long-term success. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's data management practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Analyze and assess NAVCENT's data infrastructure and plan future database solutions for improved storage and management.
• Ensure data security by evaluating and maintaining current data architecture.
• Develop and implement procedures that ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security.
• Define and establish data architecture frameworks, including security, metadata, reference, and master data management.
• Collaborate with various NAVCENT directorates to define and execute data strategies, develop models, and evaluate stakeholder requirements.
• Create application programming interfaces (APIs) to access and retrieve data.
• Design and implement data architecture for advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI applications.
• Standardize data collection, storage, transformation, distribution, and usage processes across the organization.
• Manage the flow and dissemination of data within the organization.
• Represent data-related matters in NAVCENT, CENTCOM, DON, and DoD working groups and meetings.

Must have:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of systems development, including the system development life cycle, project management methodologies, and testing techniques
• Current US passport
• US Citizenship with Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• Security + CE or DOD-8570.01-M IAT II equivalent certification

Required Experience:

• 7 years of relevant experience
