Senior Information Security Analyst

Responsibilities

As a Senior Information Security Analyst with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

• Lead the team responsible for IA posture.
• Assess system vulnerabilities, propose and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Troubleshoot technical problems with staff.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance procedures carried out.
  Contribute to the performance and success of warfighters for a program focused on Distance Learning (DL) related technologies and systems including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) support.
• Serve as a lead for the team responsible for information assurance posture of networks and systems and support system certification and accreditation.
• Ensure appropriate controls are in place to safeguard files and vital electronic infrastructure.
• Lead the development of documentation to support certification of compliance to standards.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operational.
• Assist in training staff on new technologies.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• BS/BA degree and 10 years experience
• At least 5 years of the experience must be in all phases of IA and cybersecurity.
• At least 5 years of the experience must include practical experience in secure network and system design, analysis, test design, test execution, and implementation of security mechanisms.
• Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM).
• Able to work well both independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $132,700.00/Yr. - USD $279,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
