Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Systems Tactician

Responsibilities

As an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Systems Tactician with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

• Serve as the subject matter expert in the employment, operation and maintenance of the THAD system
• Responsible for initialization and system configuration
• Establish and maintain communication links
• Responsible for RFA drills
• Support air battle management, air defense tactics, joint kill chain procedures, system maintenance and fault recognition and basic and intermediate defense design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and eight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience; a combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree
• Five (5) years of experience as a MOS 140K in a US Army Patriot Battalion/THAD Battery
• Two (2) years of experience in a US Army THADD Battery
• Served in a position providing experience in:
  • Tactical Control Officer (TCO) at a US THAAD Battery
  • Tactical Director (TD) at a US Patriot Battalion
  • Air Defense Artillery Fire Control Officer (ADAFCO)
  • Information & Coordination Central experience
  • Patriot/THAAD Master Gunner (MG) experience
  • TCO-Engagement Control Station (ECS) and/or Tactical Command System (TCS) experience
  • Defense Design experience
  • Patriot/THAAD Top Gun Qualification
  • Battalion Standardization Team at a US Patriot Battalion

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
