Responsibilities
As a US Army AH-64E Apache Senior Aviation Maintenance Advisor / Technical Inspector 15R (SAMA/TI) with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:
- Conduct aviation management and coordination of maintenance efforts within the AH-64D/E company and will focus on the skills of a U.S. Army 15R AH-64D/E Attack Helicopter Repairer.
- Train the Polish Air Force (PAF) in the management of the maintenance flow chart, aircraft bank hour tracker, scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance, parts ordering and production/quality control.
- May include performance of duties as a Quality Control/Technical Inspector.
- Train the PAF on ALSE and serve as the TAFT's ALSE advisor.
- Assist PAF with establishing Aircraft Ground Servicing Equipment (AGSE) programs and assist in collection of lubricant samples for Army Oil Analysis.
- Mentor PAF maintainers on proper maintenance of the AH-64D/E Apache Helicopter.
Qualifications
- Must have an active Secret clearance
- Fourteen (14) years of relevant experience
- At least ten (10) years of experience performing or supervising helicopter maintenance
- At least seven (7) years of experience performing or supervising AH-64D/E maintenance requiring the skills of a 15R.
- At least five (5) years of previous experience as an AH-64D/E TI or Quality Control Officer
- AH-64D/E unit Production Control and Quality Control experience.
- Capable of providing expert-level technical mentorship to PAF AH-64D/E Senior Leaders, Engineering Officers, and Senior Maintenance Technicians.
