Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Responsibilities
As a Science and Technology Roadmap Support SME with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:
- Develop and support Science and Technology roadmaps that drive critical resource decisions for Advanced Materials.
- Interface directly with government customers.
- Evaluate new and emerging technology to address key technology modernization in Advanced Materials and other areas that leverage advanced materials.
- Provide subject matter expertise and analysis to Government decision makers.
- Analyze the state-of-the-art and emerging technical solutions to address Science and Technology Objectives.
- Coordinate activities with other government teams and appropriate organizations to produce finished integrated products.
- Perform other assigned tasks to ensure US technology development stays ahead of our potential adversaries.
Qualifications
- 15 years of relevant experience.
- Ph.D. in a relevant technical area
- Top Secret Clearance (SCI Eligible)
- Must have SME-level experience with Advanced Materials
- Previous experience with Department of Defense RDT&E mission and processes.
- Previous experience supporting Joint or OSD-level requirements.
