Responsibilities
As a Combat Systems Technician III you will have the opportunity to do the following:
- Conduct repair and failure analysis on AN/SQQ-89(V)15 SONAR equipment in Fleet Concentration Areas (FCAs).
- Subject Matter Expert with all AN/SQQ-89(V)15 SONAR combat system equipment.
- Work with legacy SONAR and modern AN/SQQ-89(V)15 SONAR equipment.
- Analyze failures and faults and provides corrective solutions.
- Conduct testing and restoration activities as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and Navy Master Training Specialist or Civilian equivalent
- Active Secret Clearance
- At least 10+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing SONAR system equipment
