ASRC Federal is currently seeking a Senior Web Developer to work on-site in anticipation of upcoming work in Tacoma, WA .
The Senior Web Developer shall perform the following:
- Builds, designs, and maintains all websites and software applications.
- Regulates exposure to business stakeholders and executive management as well as other authorities.
- Designs, writes, and edits website content.
- Understands UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards.
- Creates solutions for identified problems or bugs.
- Communicates with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders daily.
- Executes assignments with the use of web applications, scripts, and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
- Develops and validates test routines to ensure the quality of the external and internal interface.
- Plans and delivers software platforms and products across multiple organizational units.
- Designs assignments with web services like REST, SOAP, etc.
- Evaluates written code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all devices.
- Maintains a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating in study groups.
- Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience as a Senior Web Developer, and have a full understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency.
- Expertise in web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks.
- Possess a deep understanding of web development standards and best practices, and be able to apply this knowledge to develop robust, scalable web applications, to include the Sitecore content management system.
- Proficiency in backend development: experience with server-side programming languages and frameworks. To include ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, C# and Java. Should be able to design and develop database schemas and work with backend frameworks such as Node.js or Django.
- Experience with front-end development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Should be able to design and develop user interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing.
- Strong problem-solving skills: Should be able to identify and solve complex technical problems quickly and effectively. Should be able to troubleshoot issues and debug code efficiently.
- Leadership and mentoring skills: Should have strong leadership skills and be able to mentor and guide junior developers. Should be able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience planning and managing multiple tasks
- Must be US Citizen; successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust
