ASRC Federal is currently seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to work on-site in anticipation of upcoming work in Tacoma, WA .
The Cloud Solution Architect shall perform the following:
- Designing, implementing, and managing enterprise infrastructure and platforms to support cloud computing needs.
- Developing cloud strategies aligned with organizational goals, including selecting appropriate cloud services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and translate them into cloud-based solutions.
- Ensuring secure integration of cloud systems with existing applications, maintaining data integrity and compliance with security protocols.
- Performing cost analysis and optimization for cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitoring cloud systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability, addressing any issues proactively.
- Leading the migration of legacy systems to the cloud while minimizing disruptions.
- Staying up to date with emerging cloud technologies and recommending improvements to existing architectures.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect with expertise in Azure, AWS, and AWSgov Cloud.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency.
- Must be a US citizen to obtain/maintain a Public Trust; must successfully pass a government issued background investigation.
- Have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance, if required.
- Strong background in software development, web technologies, and database design, with several years of experience in the field.
- Proficient in Node.js, Python, Angular, DevSecOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Experience in automating containerized microservices deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in security designs, requirements, testing, and risk mitigation.
- Proficient in DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and AWS services.
- Experience in architecting and delivering cloud-based solutions.
