Description
Markon is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to provide systems administration and design support for an intelligence customer.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of enterprise software solutions within AWS.
- designing and deploying innovative solutions, including container solutions and serverless architectures, rather than maintaining existing applications.
- Design and develop innovative solutions for administering AWS infrastructure, including task automation and self-healing systems.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance.
- BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience deploying and administering Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Console and CLI (Command Line Interface).
- Strong Linux-based systems administration experience, including Bash scripting.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, including CloudFormation.
- Expertise in task automation, using tools such as Jenkins and Rundeck.
- Experience with log aggregation and analysis, including Elasticsearch and Kibana.
- Experience managing Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with security controls as part of the security accreditation process.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work in Agile and Scrum environments.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS Console, CLI, and managed services, with experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) automation.
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with C2S (AWS for classified environments).
- Experience with IDAM/ICAM systems, including Authentication, Authorization, Entitlement Management, and Digital Policy Management.
- Hands-on experience with serverless architectures, including AWS Lambda and Python scripting.
- AWS certifications are a plus.
Salary Range
USD $170,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.
