Systems Engineer - C3BM (Command, Control, Communications & Battle Management)
Shape the future of missile defense technology. Join our team to support cutting-edge systems engineering efforts, integrating command, control, battle management, and communications (C2BMC) technologies. You'll work on future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs, helping to refine and advance mission-critical capabilities.
What You'll Be Doing
•Support C3BM Modeling & Simulation (M&S) development, including BCM, Federated Model, and CADE.
•Coordinate Flight Test Predictive Analysis to assess C2BMC system performance.
•Evaluate C3BM modeling increments and initiatives while supporting enterprise M&S activities.
•Validate C3BM models to assess system capabilities and inform MDS analysis for the Warfighter.
•Provide input on model validation measures, evaluate test cases, and interpret results to identify system impacts.
•Offer feedback on sensor model algorithms and research opportunities for model improvement.
•Recommend enhancements to improve overall system performance.
What You Bring
Required:
•Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 3+ years of relevant experience
•Active Secret clearance
•Familiarity with C2BMC capabilities, modeling, and simulations
•Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or Visual Basic for simulation evaluations (a plus)
•Understanding of Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), or C3BM Program Office efforts
•Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred:
•Engineering degree
•Experience in network engineering and real-world test, integration, or operations support
•Ability to collaborate across government and contractor teams in a badge-less environment
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
•Self-starter with a passion for learning and problem-solving
