We're seeking an experienced Software Platform Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for architecting and maintaining our platform infrastructure while working closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.

The pay range for this position is $96,000 - $140,000 / year. We're seeking an experienced Software Platform Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for architecting and maintaining our platform infrastructure while working closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
Responsibilities:
- Support integration and deployment of multiple applications into k8s environments
- Create, maintain, and improve deployment strategy into development, test, and operational environments
- Create, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines
- Integrate CI pipelines with development tools for artifact management, software testing, code analysis, quality assessment, vulnerability scanning, etc.
- Execute checkout and troubleshooting of deployed applications within development and production environments
- Interface with customers and stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physical Sciences
- At least 2 years of professional experience architecting and maintaining environments for development, test, and production
- At least 2 years of professional experience with artifact management, versioning, and lifecycle tools (e.g., Artifactory)
- At least 2 years of professional experience building and executing DevOps/DevSecOps solutions using CI/CD platforms (GitLab-CI or Jenkins)
- Experience with Linux, Docker, docker-compose, and GitLab
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- Must be able to work 100% on-site
- Detail Oriented
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Candidates who have any of the following will be preferred
- Experience creating, maintaining, and improving GitLab-CI pipelines
- Experience creating & maintaining Helm charts
- Experience administering artifact management tools such as Artifactory
