DUTIES:
• Responsible for assisting the Live Fire Division Lead with the administrative, technical and operational aspects associated with the Live Fire section.
• Supervise, train and lead Live Fire shifts.
• Assist in working with OPS GRP Live Fire Branch and other agencies to ensure all ammunition draws, packaging and turn in requirements are completed to standard within the statement of work.
• Ensure all Federal, State, Ft. Johnson and Valiant regulations/ safety requirements are followed.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and accounted for daily.
• Performs other duties in accordance with Mission Support Contract requirements as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Senior NCOES staff school attendance or civilian equivalent.
Required Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year experience issuing and receiving ammunition.
• 2 years supervisory experience in an organization of comparable or greater size and complexity.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs; Excel and Word.
• Completion of Ammo 62 (Technical Transportation of Hazardous Materials) within 6 months of accepting position.
Desired Experience:
• Warrant Officer in 910A, or Senior NCO 89B (ammunition specialist), or 89D (EOD) career field equivalent.
• Ammo 62 training course attendance.
• Current NACI or Secret security clearance.
• State Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.
Additional Requirements:
• Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
• Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation.
• Individual must be in good physical condition and be able to work outdoors.
• Individual must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
• Individual must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Individual must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able to work shift work and weekends.
