Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintains Test Procedures for 30-day security updates.
• Configures and maintains test environment.
• Performs system level software testing to accurately validate functionality following application of 30-day security updates.
• Becomes a Subject Matter Expert with project equipment and software.
• Works with development team to reproduce/troubleshoot issues encountered during testing.
• Assist Subject Matter Experts and Technical Writers with documentation efforts (test cases, test reports, software load plans)
• Assist in management of project test beds and network devices, including configuration of Linux and Windows-based test support systems and layer 2 & 3 switches and routers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION
• High School diploma or GED. An associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
• Three (3) – Five (5) years of Computerized System experience to include: Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows based operation system.
CLEARANCE
• Current Secret
• Must be a US Citizen
SKILLS
• Familiarity with MS Windows desktop and server operating systems
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Experience with a Command Line Interface (CLI) such as PowerShell or bash
• Working knowledge of system administration
• Excellent communication and writing skills for project documentation.
LOCATION
• The work location is ON-SITE in Charleston, SC, with 0-5% travel expected
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Comp TIA Sec+ certified
• Experience working with USMC Intel Programs of Record (POR)
