Business Development Specialist, Senior
Key Role:
Oversee the development of strategic market and product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments, identify volume and strategic customers, and develop partnerships. Develop leads and initiate contact with potential and existing clients, and work and maintain relationships on a continuous basis to drive a continuous pipeline. Create a complete customer journey view, direct innovative and engaging so cia l and email campaigns, manage strategic te chn ology relationships with an eye toward optimized in-house and external operational efficiency, and coordinate with internal departments in identifying and implementing business development projects. Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities, develop strategic direction from market information, create compelling market analysis presentations and develop market strategies, and c ond uct make-versus-buy analysis from a partnership, merger, and acquisition perspective. Use skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles, exercise independent judgment in methods, te chn iques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, and create formal networks involving coordination among groups. Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or spe cia l assignments, work with wide latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and supervise and assist the development of other team members.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in product development lifecycle with demonstrated product roadmap and sales experience
- Experience with developing market strategies for delivering products through Commercial Solutions Openings or Transaction type contracts
- Experience with policies and procedures within the U.S. military to include the Adaptive Acquisition Framework
- Ability to demonstrate a track record of selling software or system products to DoD
- Ability to create and maintain product sales roadmap
- Secret clearance
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering or Finance
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with engagements that identify, analyze, and evaluate complex or highly sensitive systems, policies , processes, and instrumentation
- Experience with strategy design, capability building, organizational design, and change management
- Experience with project management tools like Jira
- Experience in analyzing enterprise-wide Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs ) and policies
- Ability to be a strong leader embodying a strategic thi nk er, tacti cia n, and driver of operational excellence
- Ability to evolve and develop digital marketing and analytics platforms, collaborate with te chn ical resources to define solutions, and build processes, standards, and optimized architecture
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing competing priorities and staff management responsibilities
- Ability to demonstrate strategic thi nk ing and educate others on the latest processes and best practices
