Summary

DAS Services is seeking an experienced Manpower Analyst to join our team in APG, MD.

Responsibilities

• Expert knowledge of Manpower and Personnel functions. Knowledge of Manpower and Personnel operations, policies, procedures, and practices and the concepts, theories, and practices of the specialist work performed.

• Ability to plan, organize and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors.

• Knowledge of Federal Human Resources concepts, principles, methods, practices, programs, and techniques sufficient to accomplish a wide range of complex, interrelated activities that deal with an educated, technically oriented workforce and to resolve a myriad of personnel issues within a complex environment that may be uncommon to other organizations.

• Ability to effectively organize and analyze information, produce reports, position papers, and briefings that are responsive to the specific needs of management officials; present clear and concise findings, resolve conflicts based on mature judgement, experience, and advocate for a position.

• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective relationships, negotiating, and resolving conflicts with a variety of individuals and organizations. Ability to work with peers and superiors; must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in Management/Business Administration or Human Resources

3+ years of experience working Manpower issues

Experience with DoD planning and coordination across multiple DoD agencies

Experience working Manpower funding requirements

Experience developing Unit Manning Documents

Knowledge of DoD documentation development, including letters of instruction and formal messages

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and SharePoint

Bachelor's degree
