Orbis is seeking a Full-Time Mission Engineer and Integrator to work in the Washington Metro Area region. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in providing operational engineering support, ensuring seamless mission execution and technical excellence.

Duties/Responsibilities
Drive the integration of operational engineering principles into mission planning and execution phases.
Analyze operational requirements and recommend advanced technologies, systems, and equipment to optimize mission effectiveness.
Collaborate with client personnel to develop and refine operational concepts, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and operational best practices.
Provide expert guidance on system capabilities, conducting trade studies and recommending improvements based on operational feedback and intelligence insights.
Propose enhancements to operational procedures, including contingency planning and system troubleshooting protocols, to ensure mission readiness and adaptability.
Identify and address end-to-end system capability gaps, championing solutions that enhance usability and operational efficiency.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Education and Experience
BA/BS Degree in a technical field.
MA/MS Degree preferred.
5+ years of experience working in the Intelligence Community.
2+ years of experience providing engineering-related support.

Required Skills/Abilities
US Citizenship.
Requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies and operational challenges.
Operation Certifications.
Overseas Field experiences supporting HUMINT and technical collection intelligence operations.
Demonstrated regional and/or functional expertise or a working knowledge of geographic regions of interest to the United States.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
Functional ability in Middle Eastern, Far East or Eastern European Languages.

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.
Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
