Description

Markon's partner company is seeking a Systems Engineer to support an Intelligence customer.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and develop CONOPS by engaging with partners to understand and anticipate changing needs and requirements.
  • Assess emerging technologies and perform technical trade studies/analyses.
  • Finesse large amount of data into manageable interfaces.
  • Communicate effectively across the Sponsor's organization.
  • Develop data models, diagrams, flow charts, and other system engineering related documentation to solve problems, identify improvements, create standards, and facilitate cross-organizational collaboration.
  • Leverage multiple data management tools such as link analysis to organize relevant information and to make decisions.
  • Apply an agile approach to systems/interface development consistent with the Sponsor's project management and software development frameworks with a focus of demonstrating and delivering releasable software.
  • Create dashboards and other interactive methods for uses to interact with data.
  • Perform data analysis, including descriptive statistics on datasets.
  • Provide Operational and Maintenance (O&M) and content management support for customers internal risk management framework.
  • As needed, perform tasks such as DTO, SOPs, and supporting accreditation.


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field with 3-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience analyzing structure and unstructured data, ETL pipelines, and how they relate to data flows.
  • Demonstrated experience with graph database technologies. Neo4j experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud infrastructure within a high secure environment.
  • Expertise with databases and data warehouse technologies such as SQL DBs, NSQL DBs, and other storage options such as Hadoop Se.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing logical workflows for complex decision matrices.
  • Demonstrated experience with time management and working on multiple initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating and developing strategies to solve complex system engineering challenges in cross-organizational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience processing and integrating large data amounts of information in an organized and comprehensible manner.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and validating requirements from user stories and engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience in full-stack development and/or programming in one or more languages. Java, Python, JavaScript, or Cypher Query language experience preferred.


Salary Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $195,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
