Seeking a Configuration Manager that is able to work with a dynamic team of system engineers and administrators responsible for design, implementation, operations & maintenance, and cybersecurity for large complex resilient hardware and virtualized infrastructure. This position is responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting developmental and operational systems.
  • Use or recommend automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures. Develops or modifies CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system.
  • Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.
  • Create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting developmental and operational systems.
  • Develop, modify, and tailor CM plans, policies, and procedures according to the complexity and scope of the system(s).
  • Assist in defining, creating, and implementing hardware and software configuration management processes, procedures, and version controls including product build scripts and procedures, and integrating those scripts with the hardware and software build process.
  • Implement the CM systems lifecycle discipline from initial requirements/capabilities baseline to the systems end-of-life.
  • Perform change control and configuration audits.

Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ACTIVE TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance REQUIRED.

Education:
  • Technical or Business Discipline and/or Experience Supporting the Federal Government
    • A High School Diploma/GED and 6+ Years of Experience or
    • An Associate's Degree with 4+ Years of Experience or
    • A Bachelors Degree and 0+ Years of Experience
  • Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills with the ability and experience communicating directly with executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

Pay Range: $72,320 - $108,740
