USD $135,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.

Description
Markon is looking for a Space Planner to provide support for one of our Intelligence Community customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with and implement best practices in planning and execution of building moves and office renovations for the customer front office and staff, to include the stand-up of a resiliency program.
- Assist with and support the execution of the overall move plan and timelines for each move.
- Coordinate with the facilities group and associated parties when changes or updates are required.
- Assist with creating the move schedule/timelines (from/to dates) and modify where necessary.
- Assist with and create the IT equipment tickets and associated tracking tool to ensure IT ownership is accurate.
- Assist with creating associated tracking tool to track removing IT from old spaces where required
- Assist with tracking desk ownership, both old and new, to ensure all associated tracking tools are updated accordingly.
- Assist with government walkthroughs of the space, identify possible issues, and recommend the appropriate course of action (COA).
- Assist the Government to ensure all security measures are maintained. Assist with identifying available swing space for moves and assist with all associated IT move tracking tools.
- Provide schedules, IT tracking tools and all associated documentation when created or updated.
- Assist with and advise the Government on how to maximize space utilization and provide metrics where necessary.
- Assist with and advise the Government on regular seating updates from the facilities group and present those as easy-to-read/interpret slides.
- Assist with regular checks of the space dashboard and highlight problem areas.
- Create regular statistics with a view of maximizing seating.
- Coordinate with Space Personnel when potential problems are noted and advise Primary Space Leadon potential corrective actions moving forward.
- Provide schedules, space reports, IT tracking tools and all associated documentation when created or updated.
Qualifications
- 12 years or more of technical expertise
- B.S./B.A. or equivalent years of experience
- TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph is required
- Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and scheduling software.
- Read and interpret facility and furniture drawings.
- Ability to walk office space on a continuing basis, which included traveling from building to building within a 50 mile radius of Ft George G. Meade, MD.
- Good communications and analytical skills.- Understanding of the design and construction processes.
