Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior System Engineer with a strong software background to join our dynamic team. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals with a degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field who are eager to grow their skills in systems engineering. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and a desire to contribute to the development of complex systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain system models and architectures.
Assist in the creation and analysis of system requirements and specifications.
Support the development of Unified Modeling Language (UML) and/or Systems Modeling Language (SysML) diagrams to represent system designs.
Work with tools such as CAMEO Systems Modeler or Enterprise Architect to create and manage system models.
Participate in system integration, testing, and validation activities.
Document system designs, processes, and test results to ensure traceability and compliance with project requirements.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
Familiarity with UML and/or SysML is highly desired.
Experience or exposure to modeling tools such as CAMEO Systems Modeler or Enterprise Architect is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced work setting.
