Software Engineer Level 3 - NAVSEALOGCEN IT Systems Support Job Description:
We are seeking a Software Engineer Level 3 to support the Naval Sea Logistics Center (NAVSEALOGCEN) by developing, maintaining, and enhancing mission-critical IT systems used by the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies. This role involves working on web and client-server applications, database programming, and system configurations, ensuring compliance with Government-approved development standards and Configuration Control Board (CCB) directives.

Software Engineer Level 3 - NAVSEALOGCEN IT Systems Support Job Description:
We are seeking a Software Engineer Level 3 to support the Naval Sea Logistics Center (NAVSEALOGCEN) by developing, maintaining, and enhancing mission-critical IT systems used by the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies. This role involves working on web and client-server applications, database programming, and system configurations, ensuring compliance with Government-approved development standards and Configuration Control Board (CCB) directives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, enhance, and maintain IT software code, structures, scripts, and system configurations for web-based and client-server applications.
- Work with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular, .NET Framework, and Node.js for software development and integration.
- Support application development using JSP, Servlets, Java Server Faces, STRUTS, and Telerik Kendo UI.
- Perform database procedural and manipulation programming using Toad for Oracle and other database tools.
- Develop and integrate applications using Microsoft SharePoint, ASP, PowerBuilder, Delphi, and Microsoft Visual Studio Suite.
- Follow Government-approved coding standards, ensuring all code is checked into a Government-owned source code repository for configuration control and management.
- Utilize development, operation review/pre-production, and production environments to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Collaborate on system security, performance optimization, and sustainment efforts in alignment with NAVSEALOGCEN's IT strategy.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in enterprise application development, with expertise in Java, .NET, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Knowledge of coding best practices, source code management, and system configuration control.
- Experience working in a DoD or Navy IT environment, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
