Aerospace Engineer

As an Aerospace and Naval Engineer on our team, you'll provide expertise in evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, and improving the design of aerospace and maritime systems. Your experience in DoD engineering design and testing is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution.
In this role, you'll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge aerospace and naval technology. You'll work with a large community of aerospace and naval engineers across the firm and collaborate with other engineers and internal company personnel to define product specifications, develop conceptual and final design solutions, manage and coordinate project activities, support existing product offerings, and perform testing or analysis of new and existing products. You will deliver world-class solutions to originate and develop solutions, resolve problems, and ensure smooth operations in a variant of settings. You will also prepare diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports to support integrated platform design and assembly and make recommendations for improvements. Your engineering knowledge will help the DoD expand and improve their capabilities to protect national security and the warfighter.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams to apply engineering techniques such as aerospace, across multiple stakeholders
- Experience using Micro sof t Office Suite programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Sof tware Engineering and 4+ years of experience in engineering, or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Sof tware Engineering and 2+ years of experience in engineering
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with MBSE processes and tools such as Cameo
- Knowledge of development hypersonic weapon testing and range operations
- Knowledge of boats, marine electrical systems, and components
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfortably interacting with technical peers
