SUMMARY Description:
Envisioneering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Junior) to provide mechanical engineering support to a cutting edge Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and R&D radar programs. Specifically, expertise is needed at all levels from the design to systems integration, fabrication, and assembly level to ensure the ability to field operational test systems.

Specifically, expertise is needed at all levels from the design to systems integration, fabrication, and assembly level to ensure the ability to field operational test systems.
GENERAL Skills/ ATTRIBUTES / Qualifications:
- Must have great communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be self-directed, flexible and work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to work independently and have high quality presentation skills.
- Significant experience in technical writing a plus.
DESIRED SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic understanding of thermodynamics and heat load calculations.
- Experience transitioning designs to fabrication and assembly.
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems integration.
- Proficient in CAD applications like SolidWorks.
- Experience in load calculations used in nautical design scenarios (pitch/roll, wave slap, wind load, etc.) .
Job Requirements
Minimum Skills/ Qualifications:
- Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Have 2-5 years of experience working in the field of mechanical engineering with an emphasis on design analysis.
- Must possess a willingness to learn and the ability to take constructive feedback.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
