WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: B.S. in Network Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT related discipline. Additional years of related experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.
Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience.
Required Technical Skills: Experience with Windows Server and Workstation administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange / Outlook / Office / O365, comfortable working in a multi-vendor network with a large array of COTS applications, experience maintaining file / print / application servers
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Required Skills and Abilities: Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access

HOW A ABMS SYSTEMS APPLICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR SME WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
- Manages the organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and software
- Provides technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
- Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues
- Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software
- Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
- Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels
- Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
- Evaluates existing systems and assists with planning long-term strategies
