Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Security Engineer Expert to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Engineer, implement, integrate, and sustain appliances, applications, servers, and supporting infrastructure in classified environments and enclaves.
- Evaluate and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization, and industry best practices
- Monitor and investigate performance and faults and recommend improvements.
- Interact with other team members and customers at multiple levels to gather, supply, or coordinate informations.
- Support Assessment and Authorization activities related to cybersecurity technologies, where applicable.
- Administer technologies that directly support network security and the protection of data, including operational support for Identity Management, Privileged User Access, Access Control (firewall), End Point Protection, Vulnerability Scanning, and SIEM support.
- Implement enterprise mitigation actions in response to complex vulnerabilities across all technologies.
- Responsible for installation, testing, upgrades, patching, resiliency, performance, and application support.
- Anticipates operational challenges and recommends process, product or service improvements
- Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the network
- Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives and works within Government directed division objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science, or related technical field; additional 4 years security engineer experience might be substituted for a degree.
- 9+ years of cybersecurity experience supporting large scale enterprise deployments/data centers.
- Must have or be willing to obtain IAT Level III certification within 6 months of hire.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Top Secret clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years.
- Willing to submit to a random polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
