GCyber is seeking a Cable Technician I, to support a high profile DISA customer. As a Cable Technician I, you will support and maintain the telecommunications and network infrastructure within a secure DoD environment.

As a Cable Technician I, you will:
- Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic and CAT6 cabling systems to ensure robust network performance.
- Utilize network cabling test equipment to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues efficiently.
- Adhere to BICSI standards and safety regulations in all cabling activities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support network upgrades, troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Organize, label, and document cabling infrastructure to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and respond to trouble calls, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain uninterrupted network services.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.
- 3+ years of related telecommunications experience
- 3+ years of experience working as a Cable Technician within the DoD environment
- Related certifications for Fiber Optic Cable and CAT6 Cable installation.
