We are looking for an experienced Deputy Program Manager to support a highly classified program based in Arlington, VA. This role is part of a Program Management Office (PMO) and offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical projects while managing key program functions such as scheduling, budgeting, acquisition, systems engineering, and product support. If you have a strong background in IT project management, defense programs, and strategic planning, this role is a great fit.
What You'll Do
•Assist in managing and executing task orders, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
•Support acquisition processes, contract negotiations, and compliance oversight.
•Coordinate and oversee agreements to align with program objectives.
•Manage administrative functions to ensure seamless office operations.
•Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and cost estimation.
•Support procurement activities and asset management.
•Develop and implement strategic plans to drive program success.
•Oversee systems engineering processes, documentation, and requirement tracking.
•Produce technical documentation and reports to support program initiatives.
•Facilitate working groups to ensure effective collaboration across teams.
•Conduct technical assessments to support decision-making and risk management.
•Ensure compliance with DoD regulations and industry standards.
What You Bring
•Active TS/SCI clearance (required).
•Bachelor's degree in Program/Project Management, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field.
•PMP certification (preferred).
•8+ years of experience managing medium to large-scale IT projects.
•5+ years of experience in DoD Information Technology.
•3+ years of experience in policy development and requirements generation.
•Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
Skills & Competencies
•Strong leadership and team management abilities.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
