Lead Mechanical Engineer
Location: United Arab Emirates

We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer (LME) with a minimum of 5 years' experience to oversee the planning, design, and implementation of mechanical and electromechanical systems. The role involves managing complex systems, including those incorporating cutting-edge technologies like nanotechnology. The ideal candidate will be a registered Professional Engineer (PE) and possess deep technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles, system design, and project management.

Job Duties
• Design & Development:
o Lead the design and development of mechanical and electromechanical systems and products.
o Work with complex systems, including electric generators, turbines, refrigeration, air-conditioning,
material handling, and robotics.
o Apply innovative technologies, including nanotechnology, in the development of mechanical systems.

• Coordination & Oversight:
o Coordinate the fabrication, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
o Oversee the application of mechanical systems in manufacturing environments, ensuring quality and
safety standards.
o Ensure all activities align with engineering specifications and industry standards.

• Project Management:
o Manage and oversee engineering aspects of projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality
standards are met.
o Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and contractors for successful project
execution.
o Lead technical discussions and provide solutions to challenges encountered during design or
implementation.

• Technical Leadership & Support:
o Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, project teams, and contractors.
o Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and designs to ensure compliance with codes
and standards.
o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the field as needed.
Basic Job Requirements
o Accredited 4-year degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
o Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering.
o Proven track record of managing mechanical systems and overseeing projects from concept to
completion.
o Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical Engineering.
o Expertise in mechanical engineering principles, system design, and technical documentation.
o Knowledge of mechanical systems, including turbines, HVAC, generators, and material handling
equipment.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and
project teams.
o Ability to manage complex tasks and projects with precision and attention to detail.
o Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and engineering software.
o Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (Secret or above).

Preferred Qualifications
o 6-9 years of related experience, with additional experience in leading complex engineering projects.
o Membership in technical societies or engineering organizations (preferred).
