JOB SUMMARY: MCSG Technologies is seeking an Intelligence Specialist to join the Space Delta 10 Wargaming team. Space Delta 10 executes USSF’s Title 10 Schriever Wargame Series and other wargames supporting concepts, doctrine, education, and coalition engagement. Delta 10 Wargaming also conducts space wargame training for participants, Guardians, and outside agencies. The Intelligence Specialist position provides intelligence subject matter expertise to supported wargame events, is responsible for developing wargame scenarios and intelligence products, and will assist in the planning and execution of wargame events. Location: This position is at Schriever SFB, CO, with a possibility of moving to Patrick Space Force Base, FL, within 24 months.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external Intelligence Community (IC) stakeholders to coordinate development of products (e.g., Red and Rest of World (ROW); recruit, train, and manage Red and ROW participants; facilitate intelligence-related cells at wargame events; and integrate IC best practices into Delta 10 wargame activities.
Design and develop wargame scenarios using all-source intelligence and worldwide and regional geo-political events.
Provide guidance to player course of action development and ensure player inputs align with game objectives.
Facilitate discussions during meetings, workshops, and capstone events.
Identify and report observations and lessons learned from Delta 10 wargaming event planning and execution events to drive continuous process improvement.
Participate in the design, planning, and execution of Delta 10 wargame activities and Title 10/50 wargame events (e.g., HAF Global Engagement and Futures wargames or NRO’s Thor’s Hammer wargame).
Participate in post-event reviews, such as hot washes and After Action Report development, to document insights and outcomes.
Develop schedules, plans, and briefings; coordinate and monitor activities; and report on those activities through trip reports, briefings, meeting minutes, point papers, quad charts, etc.
Attend organizational meetings to maintain awareness of the Delta 10’s leadership priorities, tasks, and issues.
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) as Delta 10 transitions to Space Futures Command, ensuring a smooth organizational shift.
Support other tasks as contract leadership directs to ensure Delta 10’s mission success.
Travel: 10 to 12 weeks per year.
REQUIREMENTS:
An Intelligence Community or military intelligence background (USAF: 1N and 14N; USSF: 5I and 14N; or equivalents from other Services).
A US passport for occasional overseas travel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Current connections within the Intelligence Community.
A solid understanding of Service and Joint space mission areas, command and control constructs, and knowledge of current space policy and doctrine.
Previous experience participating in a Schriever Wargame event or other Title 10 wargame.
An understanding of and experience with the Military Decision-Making Process, Joint Planning Process, and Joint Operations Planning Process
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 10 years of experience working within the DoD or National Intelligence communities.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: TOP SECRET/SCI. Previous Special Access Programs (SAP) clearances are preferred, but not required.
