We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to help maintain and update mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Java and Spring Boot, with hands-on experience in cybersecurity practices and product baseline updates. This role supports a key project that demands robust, secure, and continuously updated software systems.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update existing applications with a focus on cybersecurity and product baseline enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, integrate new features, and ensure overall system stability.
Develop, test, and deploy high-quality code that meets strict security and performance standards.
Participate in code reviews and share best practices to improve software quality.
Assist with planning and implementing system updates in a timely manner, especially under tight project deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in Java development and working with Spring Boot.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience implementing security updates.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular (experience with React is a plus) for integration purposes.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on defense or mission-critical systems.
Background in maintaining large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new technologies
