Position Summary
RPI Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Security Engineer/Officer (ISSE/ISSO) to support Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authorization and other cybersecurity responsibilities. This role involves working on both existing system reauthorizations and new system initial authorizations, supporting mission-critical NSA, DoD, and DoN cybersecurity initiatives.
As an ISSE/ISSO, you will play a key role in securing newly developed intelligence systems and ensuring compliance with evolving cybersecurity standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to new system authorizations that have never been exposed before, making an immediate and lasting impact on national security.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide Information Systems Security Engineer/Officer (ISSE/ISSO) support for NSA RMF Authorization and cybersecurity initiatives in alignment with NSA, DoD, and DoN policies.
• Conduct annual security reviews to assess compliance and risk posture.
• Manage Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) entries, ensuring vulnerabilities are properly tracked, mitigated, and resolved.
• Plan and execute cybersecurity testing to evaluate security controls and document compliance status.
• Perform vulnerability and compliance management activities, including scanning and continuous monitoring efforts to maintain system integrity.
Qualifications & Skills
• Active TS/SCI clearance (required)
• Experience with NSA RMF Authorization and cybersecurity compliance
• Proficiency in cybersecurity testing, vulnerability scanning, and risk assessments
• Strong understanding of DoD and DoN cybersecurity policies and frameworks
• Ability to manage and track security vulnerabilities, POA&Ms, and compliance documentation
• Experience in conducting security reviews, audits, and assessments
